How many times have you lost your emails?

How many times have you had difficult selecting which is your email you want because the search is really crappy.

 

I've found my answer to these quesions in MailStore

For Home Users its free. Its a simple email archival utility that has unlimited storage capacity and has a super fast search engine built in.

Plus it supports a large range of email options like

  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft Outlook Express
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Mozilla Firefox and SeaMonkey
  • And most importantly both Pop3 and IMAP

It allows to to either backup your existing and/or remove mail into archival formats to free up diskspace in your mailserver.

Second because you only need to backup two directories, the master database and the data directory. I use the allways sync to backup to an external drive periodically to ensure that the mails that I backup is backuped on another medium.

 

Very nice piece of software. I highly recommend it.
